Field Lacrosse

For field lacrosse there is a big field that is divided into quarters.
Attack players have to stay in the other team's end and cannot cross the half line.
The defense have to stay in their own end and they have 6-foot long sticks. They also cannot cross center.
Then there's the middles, they can go anywhere they want. There are three of each, 3 defense, 3 attack, and 3 middies(middle).

Here's a picture of my brother's lacrosse team I think.
He's in 16 and under. That's a division is field lacrosse.
If someone is getting a penalty then the ref thwors up a flag. If the ball hits the ground when someone is getting a penalty, it is dead, so the ref blows the whistle.
Your forearm is considered part of your stick so it gets slashed a lot, too.
For checking, you can body check the other team if he/she is within 9 yards of the ball, so that's basically 10 feet from it. You can kind of cross check, too. You have to put both hands together near the end of your stick to do a strange looking cross check sorta thing.

The nets are 6ft x 6ft and all the goalies wear are shin pads, a can, a tiny chest protector and then they hold up their large stick.

The division's are 13 and under, 16 and under, 19 and under, 21 and under and that's it. That's about all you'll need to know about field lacrosse.
